The suspect, described as a white man in his 20s or 30s, entered the Bank of Southern California at 333 N. Palm Canyon Drive on Friday and fled with an untold amount of money, Palm Springs police Sgt. Mike Kovaleff said.

No weapons were seen during the robbery and no note was passed to the teller. Palm Springs police believe the man is the same suspect who robbed another bank in a similar fashion Thursday at 1675 E. Palm Canyon Drive, Kovaleff said.

The suspect is up to 5 feet 8 inches tall, has a medium build, and wore a black hooded sweatshirt with dark pants. The suspect also sported sunglasses, Kovaleff said.

Anyone who has information about the suspect is encouraged by the Palm Springs Police Department to call 760-323-8116, or Valley Crime Stoppers at 760-341-7867.
