Los Angeles: Flights canceled due to snow storm back east

With a winter storm already dropping snow in the Northeast, a number of flights in and out of Los Angeles-area airports are canceled today.

According to FlightAware.com, 49 flights out of Los Angeles International Airport have been canceled along with 26 inbound flights.

Three flights out of John Wayne Airport have also been canceled, according to FlightAware.

It’s not clear how many of the flights were canceled because the Northeast storm.

Outbound travelers and those picking up arriving passengers should check with airlines for flight status before departing for area airports.
