Andrew Modesti, 28, was arrested by a Corona police officer on February 8 on a narcotics charge, according to Riverside County Sheriff’s officials.
Modesti had been wanted on charges of 1st degree burglary and conspiracy to commit burglary after a 911 call on November 23, 2012 indicated that a suspect was attempting to force his way into a home in Norco, according to a Riverside County Sheriff’s report.
The suspect allegedly drove off in a late model Ford Ranger, according to Sgt. Mike Manning
After a description from nearby residents, the Norco Community Oriented Policing Team took on the investigation and determined that the suspect might have been Modesti, according to Manning.
The Norco COPPS deputies took custody of Modesti after the Corona Police Department reported his arrest to them, Manning said.
