A man called police and told dispatchers that he had just killed his wife and dog and that he was about to kill himself just after 10 p.m., on Sunday Feb. 10, it has been reported.

Hemet Police responded to a mobile home in the 5000 block of west Florida and upon entering the home, found a deceased male, female and a dog.
“Detectives have assumed the investigation but it is not believed that anyone else is involved,” Lt, Wisehart stated in a police report.
Wisehart added it appears that the 80-year-old man killed his 73-year-old wife and dog before killing himself in a murder/suicide.
The names of the man and woman are not being released at this time.
