A law enforcement helicopter and search dogs have been utilized as part of an effort to locate a 63-year-old Lake Elsinore man suffering from Alzheimer’s disease who wandered away from his home, officials reported.
Craig Staneart left his residence at 5:20 p.m., on Thursday Feb. 7 in the 29000 block of Maes Avenue, according to Riverside County Sheriff’s Sgt. Marc Cloutier.
Sheriff’s officials today released an update to the public that said Staneart is still missing.
According to Cloutier, Staneart is prone to extreme confusion.
A Facebook page called Help Find Craig Steneart from Lake Elsinore,CA has been created by local residents to raise awareness and help coordinate efforts to find the man.
“A missing person flyer with his photograph was prepared and sent to local law enforcement agencies,” Cloutier added.
