The average price in Riverside and San Bernardino counties has increased 14 consecutive days, rising 41.5 cents over that span, including 1.1 cents on Sunday, according to figures from the AAA and Oil Price Information Service.

The average price is 15.8 cents more than one week ago, 48.7 cents higher than one month ago and 31 cents greater than one year ago.

The rising prices are the result of low levels of production in Southern California stemming from refinery maintenance, according to Jeffrey Spring of the Automobile Club of Southern California.
