A non-injury fire that damaged a one-story commercial building in Temecula was under investigation today, authorities said.
The fire in the 27700 block of Commerce Center Drive was reported at 10:08 p.m. Tuesday and declared under control at 10:41 p.m., said Jody Hagemann of the Riverside County Fire Department.
Six engines and a ladder truck responded for a total of 26 firefighters with the first arriving engine company reporting smoke and fire coming from the roof and that the fire was “well established,” according to SWRNN on-scene reporter Joe Fanaselle.
Smoke and flames were visible through the roof of the building when the first of 26 firefighters who responded to the blaze arrived at the scene, Hagemann said.
