The Date Palm Drive overpass on Interstate 10 will be closed overnight next week while a metal fence is installed on the bridge, the county transportation department announced today.

The overpass will be closed from 7 p.m. to 5 a.m. Feb. 19-21, and Feb. 22 if the work isn’t finished, according to the Riverside County Transportation Department.
Motorists can use Palm Drive/Gene Autry Trail or Bob Hope Drive to cross over the freeway, according to the California Highway Patrol.
