No one was injured today in a rollover crash on southbound I-15 in Temecula, California Highway Patrol officials reported.
According to CHP officer Brad Barksdale, a woman was rear ended as she was getting on the freeway at Rancho California Road at about 2 p.m.
“The second driver was merging onto the freeway and looked away. When he looked up he realized traffic was stopped and swerved to avoid hitting the woman.”
The 19-year-old male driver clipped the rear tire of the woman’s Pontiac G-6 causing his car to flip over.
Officer Barksdale added that there were no injuries reported.
“Always be aware of the traffic around you and keep a visual horizon,” Barksdale said.
The woman said she is grateful the accident wasn’t worse.
“I was more worried about the other driver than myself as I saw him skidding past me,” Kelly McGee, 39, said.
