Dorner death protest planned for Los Angeles today

A peaceful protest in response to the death fired Los Angeles police officer Christopher Dorner – who is accused of killing four people — is expected to be held today in front of Los Angeles Police Department’s headquarters in downtown Los Angeles, a police officer said.christopher-dorner

The protest at 100 W. First St. is expected to begin at 10 a.m., said a Los Angeles police officer in the Central station.

She said it was not immediately known how many people will be attendance, but added that organizers said the demonstration will peaceful.

Many people on social media and elsewhere have expressed support for some of the criticisms of the department Dorner expessed in a lengthy manifesto posted online amid his 10-day killing spree.

    “Peaceful” my a**. Police will now be tied up with these malcontents, unable to respond to real emergencies.

    Why is it we only see this jacka@@ Dorner smiling like a fool in his Navy or LAPD uniform? How about a photo of him gunning down his innocent victims? Only liberal California would praise such a monster.
