Interstate 10′s eastbound lanes will be closed Tuesday night as Caltrans contractors remove scaffolding at a bridge-widening project in the Coachella Valley.
Eastbound traffic will be detoured off at the Date Palm Drive exit, and allowed to re-enter the freeway at that traffic light and entrance ramp.
Caltrans officials said they expect the closure to start at 8 p.m. Tuesday, and end by 4 a.m. Wednesday.
