An armed robber who struck a Circle K store in La Quinta is on the loose, law enforcement officials have reported.

Officers responded to a call just after 1 a.m., on Tuesday Feb. 19 in the 78000 block of Calle Tampico and learned a man walked into the store and demanded cash from an employee. After robbing the business, the suspect took off in an unknown direction.
The suspect is described as 5 feet 8 inches tall with a thin build and was last seen wearing dark clothing, Sgt. Elders stated in a Riverside County Sheriff’s report.
