The Entertainment Industry College Outreach Program will hold a four-hour seminar and networking session on Feb. 28 at the campus Highlander Union Building, beginning at 2 p.m.

Stacy Milner, founder of the Burbank-based employment agency Executive Temps and author of “Leveraging Up! The Key to Launching Your Entertainment Career,” will headline the event.

Milner worked in key positions at Paramount Television and NBC for 17 years before founding the agency with her husband in 1989.

“We are proud to have major studios and networks as our partners in this (outreach) program,” Milner said. “The program is open to any student who is interested in a career in the entertainment industry. From the production side to the administrative side, there are many opportunities.”

Recruiters from HBO, CBS Entertainment and DreamWorks Animation SKG are slated to be on hand for the forum, which is open to current and former students.

According to campus officials, an Emmy Award statuette from the Academy of Television Arts and Sciences will be on display and available for attendees to handle.
