A Thousand Palms man has been arrested in connection with a series of burglaries, police said today.

Anthony Machado, 20, was taken into custody at about 3:30 p.m. on Feb. 20 in the 31700 block of Arbol Real in Thousand Palms by members of the Palm Desert Station Burglary Suppression Unit and the Indian Wells Special Enforcement Team.
According to Riverside County Sheriff’s Department Sgt. Brad Farwell, “Machado was wanted in connection to three residential burglaries, and stealing a vehicle. One of the residential burglaries occurred in the city of Indian Wells; while the other two residential burglaries and vehicle theft occurred in Thousand Palms.”
Machado was transported and booked at the Riverside County Jail located in the city of Indio, Farwell said.
