Authorities today released the name of a 46-year-old transient fatally struck by an SUV on a Mira Mesa street.
Marcus Domingo Lee died at the scene of the accident, which occurred in the 9400 block of Mira Mesa Boulevard near Black Mountain Road about 7:35 p.m., Monday Feb. 18 according to the San Diego County Medical Examiner’s Office.
Lee was apparently trying to cross the street illegally when he was struck by a Toyota Rav4, the Medical Examiner’s Office reported.
The 20-year-old woman behind the wheel pulled over and called for help, authorities said.
