Pedestrian struck, killed by car in IndioA pedestrian was killed when a vehicle struck the person in the city of Indio, a Riverside County Fire Department spokeswoman said today. The accident was reported at 11:42 p.m. Saturday at the 10 Freeway and Golf Center Parkway, said Riverside County Fire Department spokeswoman Melody Hendrickson. The person was pronounced dead at the scene, Hendrickson said.
