The streak of increases to the average price of a gallon of self-serve regular gasoline in the Inland Empire was extended today to 27 days, but barely, as it rose one-tenth of a cent to $4.285.
The average price in Riverside and San Bernardino counties has risen 56.9 cents during the streak, including three-tenths of a cent on Saturday, according to figures from the AAA and Oil Price Information Service.
The average price is at its highest amount since Oct. 25 and 5.6 cents more than one week ago, 58.3 cents higher than one month ago and 8 cents greater than one year ago.

Destroy competition in the petroleum industry and outrageous gas prices are what you get thanks to politicians who have no idea what the hell they are doing. Those who wiped out competition need to be arrested, held accountable and imprisoned. This is not a gas price issue. It is a national security issue
gas prices yes indeed too high. i feel that too many foundries are beening shut down for the maintance which they say that this was cause of shortages. bull- hockey. thats wrong. this is a very poor excuse to hurt us consumers. california has always been the blunt of high prices and people are hurting. the people in state high office won’t do anything. washington do nothing. also people need to slow down and stop this buying high profile vehicles that uses more fuel. we need wake up and reframe from buying gas only what we need to get to work and other uses like doctor’s visits
