Temecula police arrested a suspected drunken driver Sunday night after she drove her car through a stone wall on Crowne Hill Drive in Temecula.
According to officers at the scene, the woman was driving eastbound on Crowne Hill Drive at about 11 p.m. when she lost control of her white sedan.
The car appeared to skid up over the sidewalk and then swerve across both lanes of traffic before slamming into a stone wall and landing in the backyard of a neighboring home on the opposite side of the road.
After interviewing the woman, police administered a field sobriety test.
Shortly after, the woman was taken into custody for a suspected DUI.
There were no reported injuries.
A 10-year-old child who was in the car at the time of the crash was also uninjured, police said.
Officers at the scene said the woman, a Temecula resident who was not identified, would also be charged with child endangerment.
