Residents are invited to take a step over the rainbow and into a world of pure fantasy when “The Wizard of Oz” hits the stage in Temecula.
Presented by Christian Youth Theater Riverside County, the family musical is based on the novel by L. Frank Baum.
Guests of every age will be entranced by the story of Dorothy, who finds herself lost in a strange land and following the yellow brick road home with an endearing cast of characters — Scarecrow, Tin Man and the cowardly Lion.
And Toto, too!
The show runs March 1-10 at Old Town Temecula Community Theater, located at 42051 Main St. in Temecula.
Tickets are $15 for reserved seating. Tickets are $13 for 7 p.m. shows only on March 3, 7 and 9.
