A man who got into a fight with several suspects, one of whom apparently ran him down with an SUV in Hacienda Heights, was identified today.

Victor Serrato, 23, of Hacienda Heights, was found dead around 9:50 p.m., Sunday Feb. 24 near Wickshire Avenue and Kennard Street, according to sheriff’s officials and the coroner’s office.
According to the sheriff’s department, Serrato was walking in the area when he was approached by suspects in a beige SUV and a dark-colored BMW.
Words were exchanged and some suspects got out of one or both of the vehicles and got into a fight with Serrato, sheriff’s officials said.
During the brawl, one of the suspects drove the SUV into Serrato, killing him, according to the sheriff’s department. The suspects then left the scene.
The SUV was found later at a hospital, where some of the suspects sought medical treatment for minor injuries, sheriff’s officials said.
The suspects were questioned, but no arrests have been made.
