Do you have a loved one who served in the armed forces and has passed on?
Residents can honor them by placing their name on the Veteran’s Memorial at the Beaumont Civic Center.
The memorial honors deceased military personnel who lived in Beaumont or Cherry Valley while on active duty or who died later in those communities after their military service ended.
Applications to have a name inscribed are available at city offices and online.
The application deadline is Friday, May 10, 2013.
The city of Beaumont will unveil the names and pay tribute during a public ceremony on Memorial Day.
