Man and woman found dead in Tujunga, possible murder-suicide

The bodies of a man and a woman were found today in a residential building in Tujunga, and detectives were trying to determine if the case was a double homicide or a murder-suicide, authorities said.

Police were sent to the 7200 block of Apperson Street about 10:30 a.m., said Richard French of the Los Angeles Police Department.

The pair, possibly in their 40s, were found by a building manager, French said.

Authorities withheld their names, pending notification of their next of kin.

Autopsies were pending to determine the cause of death.
