Sheriff’s deputies in Coachella sought the public’s help today in finding the gunman who wounded a man in his driveway, then rode off on a bicycle.
The shooting was reported at 11:50 p.m., Tuesday Feb. 26 in the 52000 block of Calle Camacho, sheriff’s Sgt. Steve DaSilva said.
The victim, whose name was withheld, was standing in his driveway when a man rode up on a bicycle and an argument started “during which the suspect fired several times at the victim, striking him once,” DaSilva said.
The victim was hospitalized with a non-life-threatening wound, DaSilva said.
The suspect was described only as a Hispanic man in dark clothing of a bicycle.
