A Hemet man was arrested today in connection with a vandalism incident that took place on Wednesday, Feb. 27 at the San Jacinto High School library, it was reported.
Gregory Lee Warwick II, 21, was taken into custody at 12:48 p.m. today in the area of North Ramona Blvd and S. State St. in San Jacinto after a police officer on patrol recognized him as the suspect.
“Video surveillance footage showed the suspect ramming a scooter through the glass entrance door of the San Jacinto High School library,” said Sgt. Michael Canizales.
Damages were estimated at $2,000, officials said.
Warwick was booked into Smith Correctional Facility.
