A stolen vehicle investigation in Jurupa Valley leads police to an identity theft operation involving several men and women, Riverside County law enforcement officials said today.
Officers went to a home just before 5 p.m., Thursday Feb. 28 in the 3700 block of Pyrite Street and made contact with four probationers who were attempting to sell a reported stolen car. The car had been stolen out of Riverside.
Investigators learned the suspects were staying at a motel in the 1600 block of University Avenue in Riverside.
A search of the motel revealed personal identifying information from several suspected victims of identity theft, registration paperwork, social security numbers, stolen checks and meth.
The following people were arrested and booked into the Robert Presley Detention Center on numerous charges:
- Ryan Cole, 46, of Riverside.
- Teresa Saude, 31, of Riverside.
- Stephanie Viescas, 23, of Riverside.
- Marquita Sweeney, 23, of Riverside.
- Lawrence Powell, 36, of Riverside.
- Kenneth Allen, 29, of Riverside.
- Jermaine Wells, 29, of Moreno Valley.
