San Jacinto police are on the lookout for a suspect who is suspected in an “attempted stabbing,” officials said.
According to a Riverside County Sheriff’s Department report, the incident occurred at 6:40 p.m. on Friday, March 1 in the 2500 block of S. San Jacinto Avenue, San Jacinto.
“Four subjects approached the victim and told him they knew where he was from. The victim walked away and one of the four subjects chased after him and fought with the victim,” said Sgt. S. Agcaoili in the report.
“The suspect then attempted to stab the victim but missed. The other three subjects did not get involved,” Agcaoili said.
The suspect is described as an Hispanic male, approximately 16 years old, 5-foot-10, 165 pounds, black hair, mustache, wearing a black shirt with white print and black shorts.
