Practicing physicians will moonlight as musicians at Eisenhower Medical Center today to raise money for local music programs.

“Doctors of the Desert in Concert” will be held at 3 p.m. at Eisenhower Medical Center’s Annenberg Center for Health Sciences, 39000 Bob Hope Drive.

Doctors will perform jazz pieces to benefit programs of the Steinway Society of Riverside County.

The Steinway Society “promotes excellence in piano performance for all children by bringing music into the schools and encouraging music education at all levels, and by providing financial awards through competition and music lessons for deserving children with a financial need,” according to the group’s website.

Tickets are $50.
