Fire swept through a trailer at an RV resort in Indio and left two people homeless today, fire officials said.

Firefighters received a call at 6:27 a.m. and went the Desert Aire RV Resort in the 81600 block of Avenue 49, according to Riverside County Fire Department spokeswoman Jody Hagemann.
The blaze was quickly contained, but the two residents were displaced.
Members of the American Red Cross helped the occupants find temporary lodging, Hagemann said.
No injuries were reported. The cause of the fire has not been determined.
