Seven people injured in a two-vehicle collision in Lakeview were trapped in their vehicles and had to be freed by firefighters, a Riverside County Fire Department spokeswoman said today.
The accident was reported at 10:32 p.m. Saturday at Ramona Expressway and Warren Road, said Riverside County Fire Department spokeswoman Jody Hagemann.
When 13 Indio firefighters freed the injured from at least one of the vehicles, they found one with moderate injuries and six with minor injuries, Hagemann said.
