A Coachella couple was taken into custody Monday, March 4 in connection with the death of a toddler, officials said today.

Outstanding murder warrants for the arrests of Derrick Brown, 47, and Patricia Brown, 48, were issued in Feb. 2013 as a result of an investigation into the death of 2-year-old Deetrick Brown that occurred in Jan., 20o3.
Both Derrick and Patricia were booked at the Robert Presley Detention Center in Riverside, according to a Riverside County Sheriff’s Department report.
