Art/prog rock pioneers Yes are touring once again, bringing their signature songs and unique sound to Temecula. The group will perform at 8 p.m. on March 8 at Pechanga Resort & Casino.

Tour de Murrieta

Downtown Murrieta

The 8th Annual Tour de Murrieta — recently recognized as one of Southern California’s fastest growing three-day cycling events — will be held March 8-10 and will feature some of the most competitive race teams in California and three “stages” of riding.

Wine & Chocolate festivals at Pechanga

The festival with its two-day Chocolate Decadence fest is planned for Mar. 8-9 at Pechanga Resort & Casino.

Jazz at the Merc

The Flower Fields of Carlsbad

A Gallery Reception for artist Don Roth is planned for March 8. The event is free and open to the public. Roth’s work will be on display through April 7.

2013 San Diego Latino Film Festival

UltraStar Cinemas at Hazard Center

Established in 1993 as a student film festival, the San Diego Latino Film Festival has become one of the larger and well-respected Latino film festivals in the country. The event kicks off on March 7 and runs through March 17.

Get ready to rumble, Temecula. The Rod Run will soon be back in high gear with some new tricks up its sleeve for 2013. Nearly 700 participants are expected for the event planned for March 8-9.

The Wizard of Oz

Residents are invited to take a step over the rainbow and into a world of pure fantasy when “The Wizard of Oz” hits the stage in Temecula. The show runs through March 10 at Old Town Temecula Community Theater.

Wildflowers at Anza-Borrego

Visitor center located at west end of Palm Canyon Dr., Borrego Springs

Come and see the results of the winter rains as the wildflowers begin to pop and bloom at Anza-Borrego. The prime viewing season runs through Apr. 30.

Music at the Merc

Music is always happening at The Merc in Old Town Temecula. Classics at The Merc perform at 3 p.m. on Sundays. Tickets are $11.
