It’s Art for the Animals time for Riverside County’s Department of Animal Services.

Art for the Animals is a fundraiser where the public can bid on fantastic artwork, donated by supporters of the County’s animal shelters, to assist homeless pets.
This year Riverside County’s Department of Animal Services have separated the fundraiser into two exciting formats. Along with our traditional online auction, we will be hosting a live auction event fundraiser as well.
The live auction will take place on Apr. 21.
“Essentially, artists throughout the region have donated pieces,” Riverside County Depaartment of Animal Services spokesman John Welsh said.
The art is done by amateur artists as well as professional artists.
Welsh added that some of the items come framed.
Bidding ends tonight at 9:59 p.m.
“It only takes a few moments to register,” said Welsh.

All of the proceeds goes to help the animals that stay in county shelters.
