A San Jacinto man is behind bars for allegedly abusing his girlfriend and holding her hostage, it has been reported.
Antonio Sierra, 33, was arrested on charges of spousal abuse, assault with a deadly weapon, kidnapping, false imprisonment, criminal threats and brandishing a weapon.
According to a Riverside County Sheriff’s press release, officers responded to a domestic violence call just after 11 p.m., Tuesday March 5 to a home in the 600 block of De Anza Drive in San Jacinto.
Investigators learned that Sierra held his girlfriend against her will and eventually forced the woman to a local store where she was able to get away, Sgt. Canizales said.
