A man was stabbed to death today in Santa Ana, police said.
Officers responded to 1919 S. Main St. and found a male victim on the ground with at least one stab wound, said Commander Larry Coleman of the Santa Ana Police Department.
The victim was taken to a hospital where he succumbed to his injuries, Coleman said.
The attack began as an altercation inside restaurant El Chile Picante just before 1 p.m., ABC7 reported.
Two suspects tried to coax the victim to come outside, but when he wouldn’t leave they waited for him outside, ABC7 reported.
When the man did leave, the two suspects chased him into a nearby parking lot where he was stabbed, ABC7 reported.
An investigation into the killing was ongoing, Coleman said.
