An outage in Temecula early today drained 411 residents and businesses of power, according to Southern California Edison. 
The outage was reported at 1:19 a.m. and occurred at a location in the Riverside County city that was not immediately known.

Unlike other SoCal Edison outages, where power is temporarily disrupted to replace old equipment, today’s outage was not planned.
A problem with equipment was listed as the cause on the utility’s web site.
Power is expected to be restored by 6 p.m., according to SoCal Edison.
