Temecula police officers responded to a robbery at about 6:41 p.m. in the 31000 block of Temecula Parkway Friday, and started a search of the nearby area for the suspected robber, officials said.
Witnesses at the scene of the robbery described the suspect as wearing a motorcycle helmet and brandishing a crossbow, according to a Riverside County sheriff’s report.
The suspect demanded money and was given an undisclosed amount of cash before fleeing the store, Sgt. James Larson said.
The suspect was described as being an adult white or Hispanic male. He was approximately six feet, two inches tall, according to Larson.
Police utilized a bloodhound and police helicopter to search the nearby area but were unable to find the suspect, Larson said.
