A suspected drunk driver loses control of his Toyota Tundra, hits a curb and ends up on the lawn of One West Bank in Palm Desert, it was learned today.

Officers responded at about 1:30 a.m. this morning to the intersection of Highway 111 and Town Center Way.
Initial investigations revealed the driver, 37-year-old Javier Sanchez, of Coachella crashed his truck due to drinking and driving.
He was taken to a local hospital for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries, Sgt. Horkel stated in a sheriff’s report.
Sanchez was arrested for driving while intoxicated and booked into the Riverside County Jail in Indio, Horkel added.
