Four people suffered apparently minor injuries today in a structural collapse at a Sorrento Valley business, authorities reported.
Two men were moving boxed materials in a storage area above a lunchroom at PC Housing in the 9500 block of Camino Santa Fe when the floor beneath them gave way for unknown reasons about 9:45 a.m., according to the San Diego Fire-Rescue Department.
The workers fell about 12 feet into the room below along with ruptured structural materials and other debris, some of which struck two women, SDFRD spokesman Maurice Luque said.
Medics took all four to Scripps Memorial Hospital La Jolla for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries, according to Luque.
