Perris crash sends three to hospital

Three people were injured today in a two-vehicle crash in Perris, a county fire department spokeswoman said.

The collision was reported around 9:20 a.m. in the 1900 block of South A Street.

One person had to be cut out of a vehicle, and three people were transported to a hospital, one with moderate injuries and two with minor injuries, Riverside County Fire Department spokeswoman Melody Hendrickson said.

The cause of the accident was under investigation.
