A van flipped over today at an intersection in Perris, and the trapped driver was cut out with only minor injuries.
The crash was at Ethanac and Case roads at about 1 a.m., and arriving rescuers found the van on its roof, Riverside County Fire Department spokeswoman Jody Hagemann said.
Firefighters needed 20 minutes and used a cutting tool to free the driver.
He was sent to an area hospital for treatment.
It was not immediately known if another vehicle was involved in the wreck, or what caused it.
