Eight Great: Places for a kids birthday party in Southwest Riverside

Parties for children are a common at Mulligans in Murrieta.

Hard to believe how fast time flies, your toddlers are becoming tweens, or are even teens already. Another birthday is around the corner for your brood, and you want to make this year’s party a memorable one.  There are venues in the area that are sure to create memories that will last a lifetime. The following eight locations are great places to have your child’s next birthday. The guests will be sure to “répondez, s’il vous plaît,” that is, R.S.V.P. to your invitations, A.S.A.P.

#1. PennyPickles - Professor Pennypickle wants to host your child’s next birthday. Come visit his house in Old Town Temecula at the Children’s Museum and discover his home workshop. Gadgets and gizmos abound for each party guest to ascertain. The little ones become educated as they tour through the library (time and travel), the bedroom (perception and illusion), and the kitchen (chemistry and physics). The Professor offers four different party packages to choose from. Nickelodeon just recognized this place as parents pick for the best children’s museum in the San Diego area, you will definitely want to experiment with the idea of this place being the next location for your child’s soiree.

#2. Mulligans - You can’t go wrong here at this family fun center located off of Madison in Murrieta. Reasonable priced party options allow your child and several friends the opportunity to make memories without breaking the bank. Bumper boats, go karts, and laser tag, will surely keep the guest entertained. Pizza and soft drinks are provided, as well as the choice to order a cake. Follow it up with some miniature golf and you are sure to sink a hole in one with this choice. Mulligan’s is a great party option if your child is turning “fore”…or even fifteen.

#3. Child’s Place - This place is the toddler hot spot! I know right, who even knew there was one? Child’s Place in Temecula at the south end of Front Street, is the perfect location for the younger crowd. A clean, safe, climate controlled area for your little tots to partake in some birthday fun. Here they offer three different party ideas that allow you to sit back and take the snap shots of your children enjoying their celebrations, while they take care of planning and the cleaning.

#4. Temeku Theater - If your ‘lil one ever wanted to see Mario and Luigi on the big screen now is their chance. The Temeku Theater is off Ynez Road in the Palm Plaza shopping center in Temecula. They offer gaming in the theater as an option for your youngsters’ birthday. For $45 an hour, the birthday child and guests can hang out in their own private theater playing games on Wii, Playstation, or even XBOX gaming systems. Guitar Hero and movie theater popcorn in the same room? I believe your child’s dreams just came true.

#5. Pump it Up - This place is sure to “pump up” any party! This party scene in Murrieta off of Elm Street, allows your party goers to jump and play on huge inflatable interactive play structures. They now even have rock climbing! Pump it up offers a variety of party packages to allow your kid to bounce into some great birthday memories.

#6. Game Point Arcade - With over 250 arcade games, Game Point in the Town Center off of Ynez in Temecula is the largest arcade in Southern California. They provide two large party rooms allowing you to book your next party of up to 50 plus people! There is fun for the entire family here, including 30 PC computer stations with great computer games. Make it a “point” to throw the next birthday bash here.

#7. Hitsville USA - You will score big if you pick this place for the next shindig! Several batting cages are provided for your ‘lil slugger and his or her friends. There are state-of-the-art pitching machines and second story rooms that allow you the opportunity to have birthday or team parties! Located in Murrieta off of Jefferson Avenue, they cover all the bases at Hitsville, book an event and you are sure not to strike out.

#8. Trevi Entertainment Center - You can’t go wrong with this party scene in Lake Elsinore, right off the 15 freeway. There are party rooms here as well as the opportunity to party right on the lanes! They “spare” you the trouble of having to provide food with a restaurant on site. They even allow the kiddies to B.Y.O.B, bring your own bowling ball.

There is another local party destination that might make your child’s list, but a person dressed as a rat chasing the kiddies around, I consider that more of a nightmare than a party. Don’t you?
