There are still plenty of tickets left for Adam Lambert’s Feb. 27 concert at Fantasy Springs Resort Casino in Indio, his first in the Coachella Valley, a casino spokeswoman said Sunday.

Even before tickets went on sale Friday, hundreds of fans had lined up outside the casino, and the hotel has already sold out its rooms for the weekend.
About 200 more tickets were sold on Sunday, raising the total to 1,950, while the venue holds 3,500 people, said the casino’s Ciara Coyle.
Box office hours are 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., and tickets are also available online at www.fantasyspringsresort.com.
Lambert came in second to Kris Allen on “American Idol” last May.

I heard about his concert from another fan. I couln’t find any ads; Adam never twittered about it, and Ticketmaster had no info. Nevertheless, I called Fantasy Springs Resort Casino starting at 10AM Friday and got busy signal till just befoe 11AM and all the most expensive seating was sold out already. But the size of the room is good for all, so I am happy. Now, today, I see the Fantasy venue has the show listed. I can’t wait.Since I don’t like driving and being in crowds, I have missed a lot, but I refuse to miss seeing Adam Lambert. I know I will be entertained and I got a feeling the prices for his next concerts will take a jump up, time will tell, but the tickets sold so far have gone fast just by fan talk.

I don’t know where they are getting these numbers from, but if you go online to buy tickets, the only tickets left are in the very top of the back cheap seats section. If the theatre holds 3500, then according to what seats they’re still offering, at least 5/6 of the theatre is sold out, and that has to be more seats than they are claiming…more like 2900 of the 3500.

I hope that Adam and his managers realize that his fans are world-wide and from all different situations—–and I mean that if I had the $$ to go to this concert, I would be there for sure. I will be there in spirit. My hope is for him to come close enough to my hometown…..and give me some warning, so I can save the $$….I will be there for sure. I am a 52 year old fan, and I love Adam. He touches something inside of me that is indescribable. Adam, thank you so much!!!!!

I called last night (Saturday) and as we spoke tickets were selling. I bought 2 tickets online and 10 minutes later I was unable to get a 3rd seat anywhere near the two I just purchased. As we were speaking the seats 4-8 seats away were sold and I had to settle for a seat in the next row for the third person. I asked if the venue was going to be sold out and was told “It is pretty much sold out right now.”

wow. Lamvert can’t sell out such small venue.

I am in a town in Eastern Ontario, Canada. The flight and accommodations are out of my budget to go, but I’m hoping and praying that Adam will come to Toronto or Montreal, and if not, my daughter and I will drive to New York to see him when he tours. That would be the closest for us. I’m sure he’ll do a New York show at some point. I’m getting my passport this month so I can be ready. Adam is amazing!

I am hearing that 600 seats are reserved for the high rollers if this is true than that leaves 900 tickets left, No problem he will sell out. One tweet from Adam Lambert and it will be a done deal.

The most expensive tickets were $79-and sold within first hour. I got row 27 for $59- and I think the remaining seats were $49 or $49 and $39. The event center is not like a sports arena, the acoustics are better and it is like traditional casino size as far as I can tell-there is a seating chart at their website.

I probably should add, that if the ‘package’ for the room, ammenties, ticket prices are not available as package anymore due to rooms not available- the cost of tickets alone might be different .

We can’t get through calling from Philippines. Then we gave up thinking it was sold out. But there are no more front seats which are the only ones were interested in since we’ll fly to California for this. It’s not to our satisfaction to be at the extreme back seats. I hope next time, there will be announcement for his fans outside of US.

I hope that Adam can come to Dumaguete City, Philippines, in the future for a concert or whatever reason. I will surely be there to watch his concert and see him.

This is in response to the above post by Nina. I just went to the website and there are midlevel tickets still available. Don’t want people to think they can’t get a good ticket. Still great seats!
Comment by: Linda Posted: February 1, 2010, 5:38 am
I’m puzzled too. I went on line last night to order tickets and the only seats available are in the back. I bought 4 tickets in section F row VV. But according to the seating chart there are only two more rows open. So are they going to open up the seating in the mezzanine? I’ve been there twice before and it’s a pretty good venue. They have two huge screens one on each side of the stage so no matter where you are you can get up close.
Comment by: Jenna Posted: February 1, 2010, 5:48 am
The venue sells the floor first then they sell the mezzanine. I too have been there several times. The sound system is pretty good and those two giant screens make for a really good concert experience no matter where you sit. I’ve seen Adam live three times. Trust me it’s worth it to see him live. He commands the stage and he doesn’t hold back anything. There are a lot of other hotels in the area and they have shuttle service.
I don’t understand why such short notice though. They have other shows advertised months ahead of time.

I called the Fantasy Springs Resort Casino-their own box office and got tickets- saw the size of room and seating chart and am very happy.I had waited an hour Friday -busy signal from 10-11AM- was surprised since I heard about in from another fan-saw no ads for the show and Adam did not twitter about it.I feel lucky, and looking forward to seeing Adam’s live performance- and being in room with all Adam obsessed fans like myself. A gift to myself.

Glad to hear the info about the venue. I’m in mm, but up really high in row R. I can’t wait, and yes, seeing him live is incomparable. His voice is stunning, and his presence is mezmerizing. I can’t wait!

mAdame Lambert! Epic Fail ..and will continue to fail….
Comment by: truly Posted: February 1, 2010, 10:54 am
Adam is doing great. His album is #21 Billboard top 200-and that includes all genres. Success, keith,Epic Success, rising and continuing to rise. It is what it is.
Comment by: truly Posted: February 1, 2010, 11:01 am
It just got booked, word leaked, fans shared info, no advertising yet, even ticketmaster no info and Adam himself didn’t twitter it-yet all those tickets got taken -just by fans sharing info w other fans. This will be a fantastic show and I am so lucky to find out about it cause he is the only one I have wanted to see in years and I got a feeling once he starts being advertised -his future shows may be more expensive and in bigger venues. I think we got lucky.
Comment by: Bonnie&Bob Posted: February 1, 2010, 12:11 pm
When did this happen? It’s not fair- is it only for someone with inside info. We have been wanting to see another live performance by Adam since last Fall. We would have booked if we knew about it, now it’s too late, we’ll be away that week-end and too late to change plans. His team better learn about marketing.
Comment by: Burt Posted: February 1, 2010, 1:10 pm
Not sure why this was kept a big secret and still is. There has been no advertising for it. When I looked at the website they are selling tickets for concerts way into the summer but only allowed less than a month of selling for this concert. I’m puzzled.
Comment by: Tracie Posted: February 1, 2010, 3:01 pm
The first news of this was tweeted by Fantasy Springs on Thursday. People on his official site were frantic trying to find more info. Later that day Fantasy Springs posted the info on their site; the next morning tickets went on sale. It happened that fast! No real “inside information” just some fans that watch everything closely. Join the forum on his site, you’ll find out about this sort of thing much more quickly.

I would have LOVED to attend this event! Adam Lambert is a fantastic performer and I have had the good fortune to see him live already during the Idol concert tour. You see him once, and quite honestly, once is not enough! Its unfortunate that there are still tickets left for this event but no rooms available in the casino which is why I’m not going. I’m from Canada and don’t want to venture too far from the venue; had there been rooms still availabe, I would be going to this event!
Comment by: Baseball fanatic Posted: February 4, 2010, 9:55 pm
Will it be videotaped or go to pay cable so we can buy it and watch his performance?
Comment by: Sofia Posted: February 7, 2010, 12:10 pm
I cannot attend this concert but I have hopes that someone would make it available to watch via videotape or pay per view via cable…any Adam performance is worth paying for the pleasure of watching it!
Comment by: Jada Lee Posted: February 8, 2010, 9:12 am
NO MORE ROOMS IN THAT HOTEL!!!!!!!!! I want to come from Canada. How do they think to sell out a concert “in the middle of nowhere” when there’s no accommodation available ?
To bad! I wanted so much to see ADAM IN CONCERT!
Comment by: Tina S Posted: February 8, 2010, 5:02 pm
Folks – the resort is not “in the middle of nowhere”! There are plenty of hotels and resorts in the area. Just google on “hotels near Fantasy Springs Resort Indio” and look at some of the listings, e.g. http://arestravel.com/372_hotel-location-info_h4349.html. Or get on priceline.com or expedia.com and look up Indio hotels.

For Dee & Jada Lee! I’m staying at the Agua Caliente Resort and Casino. which was recommended bu Fantasy Springs. I’m coming from Texas ,so don’hotelt know how far it is. They said 10 minutes. I have a rental car and would bew glad to give you a ride to the concert, if you are at the same hotel. But I’m also going to the glamily party, so I’m going early. But I’m sure that at a casino it wouldn’t be hard to find things to do. If you are interested email me at: prettau2@yahoo.com.
