Temecula garage gutted by fire, but home is saved

A fire swept through the garage of a two-story home in Temecula today, but firefighters kept it from spreading into the house.
Nobody was injured in the fire, which was reported at 1:14 a.m. at 30768 Point Woods Court, according to Cal Fire Capt. Jeremy Snyder.
The cause of the blaze was under investigation.
