Wildomar bank robbed, assailant gets away
The heist in the 36100 block of Hidden Springs Road was reported shortly before 2 p.m., according to Deputy Melissa Nieburger, a sheriff's information officer.

A man displaying what appeared to be a gun in his waistband robbed a Chase bank branch this afternoon in Wildomar and made his getaway in a full-size pickup truck, sheriff’s officials said.
The heist in the 36100 block of Hidden Springs Road was reported shortly before 2 p.m., according to Deputy Melissa Nieburger, a sheriff’s information officer.
The loss amount was not disclosed.
The suspect drove a jacked-up Toyota Tundra, Nieburger said.
