SD county health officials urge residents to get vaccine for whooping cough
Eleven new cases of whooping cough, also called pertussis, were reported this week, according to the HHSA. The latest cases were in children ages 3 to 16.

Certain eggs from Wright County Egg of Galt, Iowa, marketed under a number of brand names, and frozen tropical fruit pulp from COCO S.A. of Guatemala, distributed by Goya Goods Inc., have been linked to outbreaks of two different strains of Salmonella bacteria.

Quarantine area established after discovery of Oriental fruit flies in the Pasadena/San Marino area
