Welcome to the Southwest Riverside News Network. SWRNN.com (“Site”) is an affiliate of the US Local News Network, a Delaware limited liability company.

By using this site, you (“You”) agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and to use the Site in accordance with these Terms of Service, our Privacy Policy, and any additional terms and conditions that are referenced herein or that otherwise may apply to specific sections of the Site, or to products and services that we make available to You through the Site (all of which are deemed part of these Terms of Service). Accessing the Site, in any manner, whether automated or otherwise constitutes use of the Site and your agreement to be bound by these Terms of Service.

We reserve the right to change these Terms of Service or to impose new conditions on use of the Site, from time to time, in which case we will post the revised Terms of Service on this website and update the “Last Updated” date to reflect the date of the changes. By continuing to use the Site after we post any such changes, You accept the Terms of Service, as modified.

1. Access to the Site and Services

Subject to the terms and conditions of this Agreement, Southwest Riverside News Network may offer to provide certain services, as described more fully on the Site, and which are selected by You through the process provided on the Site (“Services”), solely for Your own personal use, and not for the use or benefit of any third party.

You certify to Southwest Riverside News Network that You are an individual (i.e., not a corporation), and that either You are at least 18 years of age or You are accessing the Site and Services by permission of a parent or guardian. You also certify that You are legally permitted to use the Services and access the Site, and take full responsibility for the selection and use of the Services and access of the Site. This Agreement is void where prohibited by law, and the right to access the Site is revoked in such jurisdictions.

SWRNN.com strongly recommends that parents supervise the use of the Internet by their children. A number of commercial products are available to help limit access to material on the Internet that You may consider harmful or inappropriate for your child.

2. Site Content

The Site and its contents may only be used in accordance with the terms of this Agreement. All materials displayed or performed on the Site (including, but not limited to text, graphics, news articles, photographs, images, illustrations, audio clips and video clips, also known as the “Content”) are protected by copyright. You shall abide by all copyright notices, information, and restrictions contained in any Content accessed through the Services.

Content produced by SWRNN is licensed under a Creative Commons Attribution-NonCommercial license enabling users to copy, distribute, and perform the works on this Site as well as create derivative works with proper attribution for non-commercial use.

Your Limited Right to Use Site Materials. The Site is protected by copyright as a collective work and/or compilation, pursuant to U.S. copyright laws, international conventions, and other copyright laws. Southwest Riverside News Network grants to You a limited, nonexclusive, non-transferable, non-sublicensable right under Southwest Riverside News Network’s intellectual property rights to copy, distribute, display, perform and create derivative works of the Content with proper attribution solely for non-commercial use. If You wish to use Content for commercial purposes, You must submit a business inquiry, which you may do by sending us an email via the Contact Us web page of the Site. Copying, using or storing any Content for other than noncommercial use is expressly prohibited without prior written permission from Southwest Riverside News Network or from the copyright holder identified in such Content’s copyright notice.

Our Right to Use Content You Submit or Post. 3. Comment Posting Guidelines

4. Restrictions

5. Registration and Security

As a condition to using certain Services, You may be required to register with Southwest Riverside News Network and select a password and user name (“SWRNN User ID”). You shall provide Southwest Riverside News Network with accurate, complete, and updated registration information. Failure to do so shall constitute a breach of this Agreement, which may result in immediate termination of your account. You may not (i) select or use as a SWRNN User ID a name of another person with the intent to impersonate that person; or (ii) use as a SWRNN User ID a name subject to any rights of a person other than You without appropriate authorization. Southwest Riverside News Network reserves the right to refuse registration of, or cancel n SWRNN User ID in its discretion. You shall be responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your SWRNN password.

Registration requires You to provide certain personally identifiable information, such as your name, email address, zip code, gender, and age. Please read our Privacy Policy for information on Southwest Riverside News Network’s policies for gathering data and how we intend to use and share any information we gather. If You register with SWRNN.com, You accept responsibility for all activities that occur under your personal account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your password and for restricting access to your computer so others may not access SWRNN.com using your account in any fashion. SWRNN.com reserves the right to terminate registration and deny access to any person who violates the Terms Of Service.

6. Indemnity

You will indemnify and indemnify and hold harmless Southwest Riverside News Network and its parent company and affiliates, and their directors, officers, managers, employees, donors, agents, and licensors, from and against all losses, expenses, damages and costs, including reasonable attorneys’ fees, resulting from any violation of this Agreement, or the failure to fulfill any obligations relating to your account incurred by You or any other person using your account. We reserve the right to take over the exclusive defense of any claim for which we are entitled to indemnification under this Section. In such event, You shall provide us with such cooperation as is reasonably requested by us.

7. Warranty Disclaimer

This Site is available “as is.” We do not warrant that this Site will be uninterrupted or error-free. There may be delays, omissions, interruptions and inaccuracies in the news, information or other materials available through this Site. We are not responsible for the availability or content of other services that may be linked to this Site. We do not make any warranties, express or implied, including without limitation, those of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose, with respect to this Site or any information or goods that are available or advertised or sold through this Site. Southwest Riverside NEWS NETWORK AND ITS PARENT AND AFFILIATES, AND THEIR DIRECTORS, OFFICERS, MANAGERS, EMPLOYEES, DONORS, AGENTS AND LICENSORS ARE NOT LIABLE FOR INCIDENTAL, INDIRECT, CONSEQUENTIAL, SPECIAL, PUNITIVE, OR EXEMPLARY DAMAGES OF ANY KIND, INCLUDING LOST REVENUES OR PROFITS, LOSS OF BUSINESS OR LOSS OF DATA, IN ANY WAY RELATED TO THIS SERVICE OR FOR ANY CLAIM, LOSS OR INJURY BASED ON ERRORS, OMISSIONS, INTERRUPTIONS OR OTHER INACCURACIES IN THIS SERVICE (INCLUDING WITHOUT LIMITATION AS A RESULT OF BREACH OF ANY WARRANTY OR OTHER TERM OF THIS AGREEMENT). ANY CLAIM AGAINST US SHALL BE LIMITED TO THE AMOUNT YOU PAID, IF ANY, FOR USE OF THIS SERVICE.
9. Termination

This Agreement may be terminated by either party for any reason at any time. The Limitation of Liability and Governing Law Sections of this User Agreement shall survive any such termination.
10. Governing Law

This Agreement shall be governed by the laws of the United States and the State of California. Any action to enforce this Agreement shall be brought in the federal or state courts located in Southwest Riverside, California. You hereby agree to personal jurisdiction by such courts, and waive any jurisdictional, venue, or inconvenient forum objections to such courts.
