Two Temecula residents arrested and children placed in protective custody

Police placed three children into protective custody and arrested two Temecula adults after a home search Thursday evening.

Matthew Moody, 38, and Priscilla Pounds, 35, were arrested on suspicion of felony child endangerment and being under the influence of a controlled substance, Temecula Police said in a news release. Moody was also arrested on suspicion of possession for sales of a controlled substance.

Temecula Police served a search warrant in the 45000 block of Camino Rubi shortly before 5 p.m. Dec. 6. Police said they found a quarter ounce of methamphetamine and various prescription pills.

Police found three children in the home and placed the children in protective custody.
