Scene of crash in Indio (Riverside County Fire Department)
Police today investigated a crash that slightly injured two people who were trapped in a sport utility vehicle that slammed into the garage of a house in Indio.
The crash was reported just before 7 p.m. Monday in the 79500 block of Carmel Valley Avenue, said Jody Hagemann of the Riverside County Fire Department.
Two people were cut out of the SUV and taken to a hospital with minor injuries, Hagemann said.
“Although several occupants were inside the structure, no one was harmed,” Hagemann said.
