Time for some sticky, gooey, messy, fun. Children ages 6 to 12 are invited to a step-by-step lesson on slime-making beginning at 4 p.m. on Monday, March 18 in the Library’s Community Room.

“This is a fun way to see science in action,” Youth Services Librarian Allison Eagans said. “Library staff are prepared to provide each child with the supplies and directions that he or she will need to create and take home their very own slime. No previous slime-making skills are necessary.”

The event, sponsored by the Friends of the Murrieta Public Library, is free and open to the public.

Space is limited to 50 participants; tickets will be available 30 minutes prior to the performance.

The Murrieta Public Library is located at 8 Town Square (Adams Avenue and Kalmia Street).

For more information about the program call 951-304-BOOK (2665) or visit the Library’s web page.
