One person suffered burn injuries and several others were also hurt today in a fiery three-vehicle crash in Thousand Palms, a county fire department spokeswoman said.

The collision was reported around 10:35 a.m. on eastbound Interstate 10, east of Bob Hope Drive.
One vehicle caught fire, and its occupant was transported to a local hospital for treatment of moderate burn injuries, Riverside County Fire Department spokeswoman Jody Hagemann said.
Three people were transported to a hospital with minor injuries and another person, who also had minor injuries, declined to be transported for medical treatment, Hagemann said.
The cause of the crash was under investigation.
